Test logs, not adjectives
A load rating is a claim until a frame has held it, and a coating warranty is a promise until a coupon has survived the chamber. So RackForge publishes the tests instead: every frame passes an outgoing sequence that covers structure, coating, grounding and — on liquid-ready builds — a 24-hour manifold pressure hold. The log below is the shipped format, printed with the frame's serial number and put in the crate, not in a claim portal.

4× static · 72-h creep recheck · class 0 adhesion · ≤0.1 Ω ground · 1.5×/24 h pressure
The record that leaves with the rack
Eight checks close an outbound build; the example below is a high-density GPU frame with the liquid-ready option, which is why both the load line and the manifold line appear. Air-cooled standard frames run the same sequence minus the pressure hold. Results are recorded against the serial number stamped on the frame.
What is in the crate besides the rack
Six documents travel with every order, so customs, site crews and the warranty file each get the page addressed to them. The test record and drawing package are revision-matched to the serial number on the frame — the version in the crate is always the version that was built.
Factory test record — the outbound log above: load, creep, adhesion, ground, pressure and visual results, serial-matched.
per frameDrawing package — as-built general arrangement plus anchor and bayning layout for the site crew.
rev-matchedPacking list — crate contents by serial, with accessory kits and hardware bags itemised for unpacking checks.
per crateWarranty card — 3-year terms on structure, coating and factory-fitted components, with the claim path and response window.
3 yrCE declaration of conformity — LVD, EMC and RoHS directives; EN IEC 62368-1 cited where electrical accessories are fitted.
per shipmentSpare parts list — hinges, locks, brush strips and blanking panels with reorder codes for a 30-day restock path.
per orderEvery check, with its method, limit and frequency
Published so your QA team can compare line-for-line against the rack standard you write. Where a frequency is batch-based, the batch coupon number is recorded on the shipment dossier so results stay traceable to your crates.
| Test | Method | Acceptance | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Static load | weighted plates on installed rails | 4× rated — 1,500 kg standard / 1,600 kg high-density, no permanent set | every high-density frame; first article + batch sampling on standard |
| Creep recheck | deflection read at 24 h vs 72 h under load | Δ ≤ 1.0 mm | every high-density frame |
| Coating adhesion | ISO 2409 cross-cut on coated panel | class 0 | every coating batch |
| Coating thickness | magnetic gauge, 5 points per panel | 80–100 µm | every coating batch |
| Corrosion | ISO 9227 neutral salt spray, batch coupon | 480 h — no red rust, no blistering | every coating batch |
| Ground continuity | 4-wire milliohm meter, frame-to-frame | ≤0.1 Ω | every frame |
| Manifold pressure | 1.5× working pressure, sealed hold | zero pressure drop in 24 h | every liquid-ready rack |
| Dimensional | granite CMM against ballooned drawing | ±0.1 mm fabrication envelope | first article per batch + 5% sampling |
| Door mesh open area | aperture measurement on front mesh | ≥80% open area | per door lot |
| Torque audit | calibrated wrench on sampled joints | per assembly specification, log entry required | every frame |
| Final visual & packing | finish, fit, hardware and crate condition | checklist pass before crating | every frame |
First on granite, then on the floor
Every batch starts with a first article on the CMM: column spacing, EIA hole pattern, rail positions and door openings are probed against a ballooned drawing, and the ±0.1 mm envelope is signed before coating is allowed to start. Spot checks continue at 5% through the run, so a worn die or a drifted brake shows up inside a shift, not inside your container.
The same logic runs the other direction. If a field question ever arises, the serial number on your frame points back to its batch coupon, its first-article report and its outbound log — which is what makes the 3-year warranty a document trail rather than a promise. Ask for the dossier with any quotation and we will send a redacted sample log with the drawings.
