Network cabinets · same line as our server racks

Network cabinets, built on the same line as our server racks.

Same SPCC sheet, same 2.0 mm uprights, same finishing line — configured for patch panels, switches and cable management instead of a rack full of servers.

Fixed on the platform
steel · upright thickness · door thickness · finish sequence · grounding · mesh
Confirmed at quotation
height · width · depth · door type · cable entry · accessories

Configuration matrix

What is fixed, and what is quoted

Two states, two columns. Anything in the middle column is settled before the sheet is cut; anything in the right column is settled with you on the drawing.

Decision Fixed on the platform Confirmed at quotation
Build platform Same production line as the server rack range —

Cable entry — Position confirmed on the drawing before production
Accessories — shelves, fans, cable managers — Quoted with the configuration

This matrix is the document we quote against. Take it to your own bill of materials — the left two columns will not move.

Server racks, network cabinets

Same line, same hands

Network cabinets come off the same production line as the server racks: the same cold-rolled SPCC sheet, the same press brakes, the same degrease–phosphate–powder coat line, the same multi-point grounding practice.

What changes is the configuration — patch panels, switches and cable management instead of shelves and heavy rails.

  • SteelSPCC cold-rolled sheet from Baosteel or Ansteel, one source fixed per batch.
  • Thickness2.0 mm uprights and 1.2 mm doors on both ranges.
  • Pre-treatmentDegrease, then phosphate, then electrostatic powder coat — never paint over mill scale.
  • GroundingMultiple bonding points on the front door, the rear door and the frame.

Scope

What we make, and what we do not

Made by ems-rack

  • Network cabinets
  • Server racks
  • Cold aisle containment
  • Micro modules
  • Power distribution cabinets

Not made by ems-rack

Structured cabling — patch panels, copper and fibre, cable managers.

Manufactured by Yizhou — not by ems-rack. It is listed on the Partner Brands page and it is outside this page's scope.

See Partner Brands

We put this here rather than at the bottom of a catalogue because a network engineer needs to know which half of the bill of materials they are buying from us — and which half he is not.

Approval

Four things to check on the drawing before you approve it

  1. 01 Upright thickness — 2.0 mm, written on the drawing, not only in a brochure.
  2. 02 Door open area — ≥75% on the front door, ≥60% on the rear door.
  3. 03 Grounding points — multi-point, on both doors and on the frame.
  4. 04 Finish sequence — degrease, phosphate, then electrostatic powder coat; not paint over mill scale.

Asked before ordering

Three questions network engineers ask us

Can a network cabinet carry the same load as your server racks?

The 1,000 kg static load figure is the server rack platform rating. For a network cabinet the rating is confirmed for the configuration you order — patch panels and switches rarely need the server figure, and we would rather quote you the real one.

Do you supply the patch panels and the cable?

No. Structured cabling in the catalogue is a third-party brand. Manufactured by Yizhou — not by ems-rack. It sits on the Partner Brands page, kept separate from the nine lines we build ourselves.

Do I get a drawing before production?

Yes. The cabinet is drawn and confirmed with you before the sheet is cut, and that drawing is the document we build to.

Send us your configuration list

Height, width, depth, door type and cable entry are the five lines that decide the drawing. Paste them and the quote comes back against this matrix.
