Drawings come in under NDA, DFM notes come back within 48 hours, first articles are proved on a CMM against a ballooned drawing, and every batch carries traceable material certificates. The window is 0.8–3.0 mm in SPCC, SGCC, SUS304 and AL5052, held to a ±0.1 mm fabrication tolerance from laser cutting through final assembly, with a C4-class powder system at 80–100 µm validated to 480 hours of neutral salt spray. OEM work fails on communication, not on machines. The six items below are written into the quotation itself, so both sides know what "done" means before the first sheet is cut.

Drawing NDA — signed before your files are opened; DXF, DWG and STEP accepted, and the NDA covers tooling, programs and rejects alike.

DFM feedback in 48 hours — bend radius, hole-to-edge distance and tolerance-stack notes redlined on your drawing by the engineer who will run the job.

Process

Six processes under one roof, six places you stay in the loop

Walk the part through the shop in the order the steel sees it. Each step names what we do and what we need from you to keep the run on its 30-day slot.

STEP 01

Laser cutting

Fiber laser nesting minimizes scrap and holds ±0.05 mm positioning repeatability, with burrs broken before anything reaches forming. Common IT vent patterns cut clean at 1.0 mm and above. Your input: DXF or DWG files with 1:1 flat patterns, or a STEP model we flatten for you.

STEP 02

CNC punching

The turret punch forms louver vents, knockouts, countersinks and card guides in one hit, which is faster than laser for repeatable hole fields. Our tooling library covers the vent patterns used across server racks and containment panels. Your input: hole and vent callouts with tolerances marked on the drawing.

STEP 03

Bending

CNC press brakes hold ±0.1 mm on repeat bends, with minimum inner radii set per material to avoid orange-peel on AL5052 and tearing on SUS304. Gauging jigs keep bend angles consistent across the batch, not just across the first sheet. Your input: approval of the bend sequence proposed on the DFM sheet.

STEP 04

Welding

TIG on SUS304, MIG on frames and spot welding for panel assemblies; cosmetic welds are ground to the finish class your drawing calls out. Weld distortion is controlled with fixture-cooled sequences on thin-gauge parts. Your input: weld-on and weld-off marks plus the cosmetic-face list.

STEP 05

Powder coating

Four-stage pretreatment — degrease, pickle, phosphate, rinse — feeds an electrostatic powder line at 80–100 µm, rated C4 and validated to 480 h neutral salt spray per batch. Masking keeps threads and grounding points bare. Your input: RAL code, gloss level and masking points.

STEP 06

Assembly & first article

Hardware insertion, sub-assembly and final torque checks close the run, and the CMM first-article report is issued against the ballooned drawing before packing. Export plywood crates or CKD flat-pack follow your distribution plan. Your input: fastener specification and preferred packing format.
